Our one-bedroom/one-bathroom units offer a walkout balcony or patio view of the beautiful white sand beach of the Gulf of Mexico. Each unit is uniquely decorated, has a fully-equipped kitchen, and offers all of the amenities for a relaxing stay at the beach.

Most units are configured with the bedroom on the street-side of the building and the living room on the Gulf side. For those wishing to awake to ocean views, we have several side-by-side units, with the bedroom located beside the living room. Side-by-Side Plus units offer slightly more space.

Guests staying one week or more will have their room cleaned mid-week. Optional maid service and onsite laundry machines are also available.

These units offer a little extra privacy as they are located on each end of the building. In addition to the extra bedroom, the kitchen and living rooms are larger than one-bedroom units, providing the perfect set-up for a family getaway.

Our loft unit combines the spaciousness of a large one-bedroom unit with the pricing of a studio. Facing the street side of the building, this unit has a large lower level living area and kitchen and an upstairs bedroom loft. This unit is uniquely decorated, has a fully stocked kitchen, and offers all of the amenities for a relaxing stay at the beach.

About Us

The SeaHorse Beach Resort is in the beautiful island community of Longboat Key. Located on the white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, the resort offers panoramic views of the gulf, which can be enjoyed relaxing in your room, lounging by the heated pool, or soaking up the sun on our 500 feet of private beach.

Upon arrival, our friendly, professional, and experienced staff will welcome you to your island get away. The SeaHorse is well known for its repeat guests, who come back year after year because of the service provided, well maintained property, and of course, world class views.

You will find our condominium units to be tastefully decorated by each owner and offer fully equipped kitchens and all of the amenities to make your island vacation the memory of a lifetime. All 36 units (except the loft) have a private balcony or patio offering uninterrupted views of the tropical green waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the white sand beaches that stretch for miles. If you need to plug in, free wireless access to high-speed internet is available in every unit, the pool area, and the lobby. There also is a lobby computer for guests to check mail and print boarding passes.

Longboat Key, and nearby Sarasota, offer a rare mix of superb beaches, recreation, nightlife, and culture. Amenity-filled parks, outstanding restaurants, vibrant bars with live music, and charming shopping are only minutes away. For the less adventurous, play volleyball on the beach, collect shells or relax while enjoying the gulf breezes and watching the dolphins swim.
